Dunraven School Winter Arts Festival

Posted on: 03 Dec 2020

As an Artsmark Platinum School, Dunraven is very proud of its commitment to the Arts and the artistic opportunities offered to students throughout both phases. The end of term is an important time for students, staff and families as it offers the opportunity for the sharing of and appreciation of all their hard work. At Dunraven, we would like to ensure that this opportunity to share and appreciate is not lost due to the pandemic.

Dunraven is therefore hosting its first All-Through Winter Arts Festival. This will be an opportunity for the wider Dunraven community to share in artistic achievements of students from Reception all the way through to Year 13. The festival will feature work in Art, Dance, Drama, Film, Music and Photography and will feature some old favourites including the KS1 Nativity, a range of music performances that would usually make up the Christmas Concert and parts of the annual Sixth Form Scripted Performance.  All of this wonderful content will be available to access online, on one website by signing up for a ticket through the School Gateway.

The Winter Arts Festival Website will launch on Monday 14 December and will be viewable to ticket holders until Monday 21 December however some Primary Phase content will only be available between Wednesday 16 and Friday 18 December.

In order to secure tickets for the festival (which means you will have access to the website) you are required to sign up via School Gateway. The cost for access is £1 and if you need financial support with this, please contact the primary or secondary office.  Please make payment by Friday 11 December.

Dunraven is proud of staff and students for ensuring their commitment to the arts is not dampened by the pandemic and we look forward to sharing with you the creativity and talent of our students and staff.
