Welcome

Welcome to Dunraven School.

We are proud to lead Dunraven, a 4-18, All Through School. This structure offers our children - and their families - a unique educational opportunity as well as the chance for the school to create an exciting and enriched learning experience for all its students.  Our primary team are very excited to be working with our children and look forward to seeing them develop and grow as learners. In our Secondary phase, we will continue to work hard to ensure that we build successfully on those excellent foundations all the way to A level and the life beyond school.

We are one of very few schools to hold Platinum Artsmark Status. Our OFSTED visit (March 2023) which judged Dunraven as ‘good’ in our on-going journey to achieve ‘Excellence for All’. Our next challenge is to ensure that Dunraven raises these high standards as we aim to become an ‘outstanding’ school, working with others as we deliver excellence from Reception all the way through to Year 13. Students leave Dunraven, confident, capable and cultured. They are able to follow their dreams and dare we say it make the world a better place.

We are clear about the significant responsibility that comes with being the founding school of the Dunraven Educational Trust. We share the Trust’s ambition to ’Share Excellence’ across all of our schools to give the children in our community the best possible preparation for adulthood.  If you come to visit the school, we will offer you a warm welcome and aim to let you see for yourself why we're so proud of our school.

Best wishes on behalf of the students, staff and governors of Dunraven,

Michaela Christian and Guy Maidment
