Year 12 Nike competition

From 9th April to 12th April, Nike hosted a series of creative sessions inviting participants to design and submit their very own concept for a London Air Max trainer based on existing Air Max icons. A shoe designed for the city, by the city. 

The workshops were attended by students from the Year 12 Media Studies class, where they worked with experts to develop ideas and pitch them to the group. The Dunraven group was one of the three individual Air Max concepts to be converted into 3D designs and put forward into the global Nike: ON AIR voting hub, where the world will be invited to vote on the London Air Max design they want to make a reality.

The design with the most votes will be made by Nike at a future date and the designer of the shoe will be given a trip to the Nike campus in Oregon to meet members of the product team as their Air Max concept is turned into reality - fingers crossed the Dunraven Media students continue their success!
