    Oversubscription Criteria

    If you would like your application to be considered under ANY of the priority oversubscription criteria of Looked After Children; Siblings; Medical/Social Needs; Children of Staff, please complete the relevant details below.   • Looked After Child (LAC)

    Is this child now, or have they ever been, in the care of a Local Authority or provided with Local Authority accommodation by that Authority (according to the Children Act 1989), adopted or became subject to a residence order or special guardianship order (according to the Adoption and Children Act 2002)? Evidence of LAC status must be provided.

    Do you consider your child to have an exceptional Medical or Social need which can only be met at Dunraven? Medical / Social applications must be supported by at least 2 forms of written professional evidence, for example registered health professionals or social workers. Your evidence must be clear as to why Dunraven School is the most suitable school and what difficulties would occur if the child had to go elsewhere.

    Admission Banding Test

    All applicants to Dunraven School are required to sit an Admission Test on Saturday 9 November 2019 as part of the Fair Banding process. If you are applying to any of the following schools, Archbishop Tenison's, Dunraven, Lambeth Academy, La Retraite, Lilian Baylis, London Nautical, Norwood School, Platanos College or St Martin-in-the-Fields, your child will sit the test only once. Please indicate below the school at which you would like your child to sit the test. YOU MUST HAVE APPLIED TO THAT SCHOOL to be able to sit the test there.

    Please note: London Nautical is for boys only and St Martin-in-the-Fields and La Retraite are for girls only.

    Checklist

    Please ensure you have completed this application in full. If you are applying under the oversubscription criteria of Looked After Child or Medical/Social Needs, please ensure you have attached supporting evidence. If you have trouble attaching, please contact the Admissions Office by email to admissions@dunraven.org.uk. A reminder that you must also submit a Common Application Form (CAF) to your home Local Authority by 31 October 2019.
