Holocaust RemembrancePosted on: 28 Feb 2018
On Wednesday 22nd February Year 9 and some members of the Sixth Form were privileged to hear the testimony of Cirla Lewis, a Holocaust survivor. Cirla described the experiences of herself and her family during World War Two when she was hidden in a safe house over the course of the war with her mother. Her father was tragically murdered in Auschwitz.
Year 9 students listened to the testimony with maturity and asked a number of questions at the end. We would like to extend our thanks to Cirla and her husband, Phillip, for giving up their time to come and speak to us and to the Holocaust Educational Trust for arranging the visit.
