The figures which are listed after the name of each school represent the following: The first figure is the number of pupils who have attained the exam standard mentioned above this year. The second figure is the percentage who achieved the set standard out of the total number of pupils who took the exams. The third figure is the school's ranking in the national table. The fourth figure is the percentage of pupils who achieved the standard in 1997. The fifth figure is the 1997 league table placing. The sixth figure reflects the difference between the 2000 and 1997 totals.
