Lambeth Schools Debating Competition

On Saturday 3 March, four students from Year 10 took part in the Lambeth Schools Debating Competition.  Lutecia, Majeed, Fraser and Mahalia  were given the following debate motion: 'The August riots have affected the mutual respect between police and young people'.

The catch was that we had to argue AGAINST this motion.  Although we didn't win this year, the students spoke and argued confidentally and represented the school brilliantly.

Thanks to Mr. Kirby and Mr. Schmauss for organising and accompanying the team.
