Behaviour

At sixth form, our focus is on supporting students towards independence and a skill set needed for lifelong learning.

This is achieved through a range of teaching strategies such as ‘flipped learning’ which prepares students for university style seminars, and through a behaviour policy which places the student at the heart of a collaborative process, meeting with staff or family as necessary. In this way, young people have increasing control over the way their learning is managed, in a way that affords them opportunities to grow and develop with support from the Sixth Form Team as necessary.
