World Water Day at Primary

Posted on: 26 Mar 2018

What is water pollution? How is our water cleaned so it is safe to drink?  How can we save water?  How can we write slogans to persuade more people to take action?  These were just some of the issues we explored on Thursday 22nd March as part of World Water Day.

The recent, local water issues in Streatham have meant that many children have had personal experience of living without water, but there was much more to investigate. The children worked in Houses giving them the chance to work with different year groups and take part in different sessions throughout the day. It was inspiring to see how creative the children were in their responses and how thoughtful their suggestions were.

The children brought our core value optimism to life by showing us all what the future generation will be able to achieve.
